Opening of exhibition "Traveling Trough Arizona" by Ljubica Milas on Friday, November 7th at 7.00 pm @ American Corner
The exhibition will be opened by Marina Zinic Ilic MA in economics, writer and painter.
At the very opening student at the School of Music "Isidor Bajic" in Aleksandar Spasojevic class - Andrej Bojovic will play two compositions on classical guitar.

BUSINESS ENGLISH WORKSHOP
American Corner Novi Sad succeeded to organize one more group for program "Business English Workshop" for the fallowing period. Based on the previous expirience and great interest and success of this program last year, this year two groups will be actively working - the old one will start at Uppermediate level and new one at Intermediate level. Both groups will lead Slobodan Torovic, graduated economist who has experience in the fields of mediation and international cooperation. Mr. Torovic was educated and worked in USA and Great Britain. |

We announce a Call for Applications for the new group.
All interested people can apply until October 20th - 8.00pm throughout our e mail address americkikutak@nscable.net
Notice: only the ones who will be accepted will be informed about the results of this Call for Applications!
The new group will start on Thursday, October 23rd at 5.00 pm until 6.30 and will work every second Thursday until may 2009.
Who Can Apply?
Only members of American Corner Novi Sad can apply for the program. Since the membership is free of charge the program is also free of charge. For the membership in ACNS you have to bring one photo and an ID. When you become a member you can use our library and other programs that we organize.
For the application you need to send us on our e mail address fallowing data:
- Name and surname
- Date and year of birth
- Your occupation and year of working experience/ Faculty and courses you attended and the year of study
- Interests
For the attending the program you MUST have developed conversation skills in English language
Selection Criteria:
Program "Business English Workshop" is organized for YOUNG PEOPLE between 18 to 35 years old . During the selection the priority will have students and employed people who are ready to advance in their knowledge and are motivated to develop their communicational skills in English language for business situations.

We are pleased to inform you
that an American Corner opened on October 6th, 2004 in
Novi Sad. This project is the result of cooperation between
the Cultural Center of Novi Sad and the Public Affairs
of the U.S. Embassy in Belgrade.
The idea was to open an American-style library created
to help increase mutual understanding between Serbia and the United States by making available information
about America in a variety of formats. We offer books,
videos, CD-ROMs, Internet access, programs and a professional
bilingual librarian trained to help you find desired information
about the United States. |
