June 18 - Deputy Head of the OSCE Mission to Serbia Mr. Anthony Phanigan visited American Corner Novi Sad in order to give lecture on the subject "Public Diplomacy in a Multilateral World". The lecture led to a very interesting discussion with the audience that lasted for three hours! We hope that this successful lecture will lead to more cooperation with OSCE in the future.
June 17- Business English Program which started on November last year finished with the final workshop on 17 of June. The students received certificates for attending workshops in total of 16 units. Moderator of the workshops was Slobodan Torovic who received a certificate, too. New group of students will start by the end of September.
June 13 - School of English language "Castrum Educo" presented two plays as a part of end of school year celebration: "The Missing Skeleton" and "My Big Fat Greek Wedding". Both plays were performed on English language!
June 12 - Promotion of USAID new program "Community Connections" was presented by representatives from World Learning Centre. The focus of the presentation was on Village and Rural Tourism program. Graphics and paintings exhibition of MA Dunja Nedeljkovic, artist from Novi Sad has been officially opened on Friday June 6th. The reason for calling Ms. Nedeljkovic to exhibit at the AC was marking World Environment Day because here graphics and paintings surely remind us all about the beauty and significance of nature.
One more play produced by "Kamencic" Workshop took place at the American Corner Novi Sad on Thursday June 5th. The play "Fairytale Wedding" is a result of working with a group of young people from Novi Sad elementary and high schools. Workshop leaders are Dragana Miljkov and Milica Suvacarev.
On Thursday June 5th new culture and media advisor at the American Embassy Belgrade - Mr. Conrad Turner visited American Corner Novi Sad. The main reason for Mr. Turners  visit was promotion of new programs for exchanges, scholarships and project support of the American Embassy. Mr. Turner meet with press representatives as well as with alumni students and AC volunteers.
23 April - American Corner Novi Sad visited a group of 15 Roma children. We showed them what can they get in our Centre and gave them notebooks. Children collored the Easter paper eggs and learned some new words in english language. We had great fun!
22 April: Lecture by Aca Ljiljak - Jazz in Movies, one of the activities we prepared in order to mark Jazz Appreciation Month - April.
April 22nd: we marked The Earth Day with two organizatons: Volunteer Centre of Vojvodina and Engineers of Enviroment protection. Each participant in the workshop could get basic info how he/she can contribute to protect enviroment. After this short workshop David Myers, EVS volunteer from UK showed how can they recycle and make useful things. 25 people were participating in this workshop.
March 11 at 6.30 p.m. we organized Literary Night "Afro American Women Writers" with prof. Aleksandra Izgarjan and english language students from Philosophical Faculty Novi Sad.
February 1 at 7.00 p.m. - Opening of Exhibition "Samuel Colt - Personality and Work" by Darko Stojkov and Ivan Jovanovic, two young artists from Belgrade.
January 17, - 6.00 p.m. - Agency "Go USA" presented its offer for Work and Travel program. Throughout this program students can travel, and work in USA in cities of New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Atlantic City...
January 10, Exhibition of paintings "Traveling to...challenge" by professor Dr Nevenka Petrovic. The exhibition was opened by Jovanka Ulic, master of art drawing. At the opening we had an opportunity to listen to The Collage of Pedagogy chamber choir.
