Program activity of the Cultural Centre of Novi Sad is realized in its own space: Art Club (literary programs and other platforms, 'package' program - philosophy platform, music program - Jazz club, public presentation of workshops, Art cinema program,…), Cultural Centre big hall (film, scene and music program), Cultural Centre Plastic Art Salon (exhibitions held by artist of younger generation), Small Plastic Art Salon (plastic and fine artists exhibitions, salable exhibitions). Depending on necessary certain programs and projects realization conditions, Cultural Centre of Novi Sad sometimes realizes its contents in other culture organizations and institutions - theatre halls, galleries, as well as at out in the open - city squares, courtyards, Petrovaradin fortress…

Since its early beginnings and especially in the past few years, Cultural Centre of Novi Sad maintains dynamic contacts with international subjects from the field of culture, such as institutions and artists, realizing a great number of interesting programs, actions and projects.

Cultural Centre of Novi Sad is the house that holds almost five decades long tradition at the field of culture.

Its founder is Town Council of Novi Sad.

Cultural Centre of Novi Sad had grown on the basis of well-known Youth Platform, founded some forty years ago. That institution lived trough changes during seventies and eighties, integrating its potentials with other youth cultural institutions in Novi Sad and at the last instance, forming what we know today as Cultural Centre of Novi Sad.

Cultural Centre had been one of the first cultural institutions that presented cultural contents led by multimedia and interdisciplinary approach, joining cultures, people and towns, animating streets and squares as well as other public places, such as Petrovaradin fortress, a self standing cultural symbol of Novi Sad (over hundred art studios, Novi Sad Academy of arts - plastic art and music department). Cultural public from former and this Yugoslavia doubtlessly hold in memory "Plays with the sun" summer manifestation from that Novi Sad Summer Festival was born. Unfortunately, economic and other possibilities hasn't been keen to the culture and authors, so Novi Sad Summer Festival is, as we believe, only temporary excluded from cultural and tourist offer of our town).

Cultural Centre of Novi Sad is well known by its openness for new tendencies in culture. It is one of leading institutions with a sense of hearing, creativity, wisdom and persistence to animate all generations of artists. A whole new role of cultural actions, manifestations, festivals and other program holes was made during the hardest times (International Festival of Alternative and New Theatre, Novi Sad Jazz Festival, EUROnsFILM, Multimedia editorial work…)

Main sponsors of Cultural Centre of Novi Sad actions are Novi Sad Town Council, Ministry of education and culture, Main board of the Novi Sad Town Council. Occasional financial help for particular projects or programs comes from other institutions such as Vojvodina County Ministry for culture and education, Republic of Serbia Ministry of Culture (INFANT, larger plastic art projects, "Polja" magazine, Novi Sad Jazz Festival, EUROnsFILM…)
INFANT had obtained partial financial help from Open society fund, as well as other donors who were willing to help and share some program expenses with the organiser.
